The event is not a race and the roads used will not be closed to traffic. Participation in the event involves riding with other traffic and other cyclists in close proximity - it is a mass participation ride from Brisbane to the Gold Coast. There are no pace setters or prizes for finishing first, and competition of any sort is strongly discouraged for safety reasons. Please ensure you ride to the conditions and follow the Qld road rules
